HALLOWEEN ll

Thanks so much to Grandma and Grandpa Hopps for the spectacular Buzz costume!! Ro could not get his "space suit" on fast enough. There were manic screams, tears and frantic pulling as I tried to ease the paper thin Buzz costume on his writhing body! Happily, it did not come to pieces in my hands, and Ro Lightyear was born! Ro entered his alter ego with the ease and professionalism of an oscar winner. He got up from the couch and stood like a newly crowned king, his chin thrust in the air, and hands on hips. He surveyed the ceiling for possible danger, leveled his eyes and then started pressing the "buttons" on his chest. "Buzz Lighyear" he said to star command. Next he raised his knee to take flight and exclaimed "To infinity and Beyond!!" Oddly, once he was out, he quickly forgot who he was dressed as. When the lady at the first house asked him who he was, he looked at her as if she'd clearly lost her marbles and said "I Rowan!"

little Buzz

Ro with beloved "little Buzz." It's amazing how much time a child will dedicate to one theme. Day in, Day out.....Buzz, Buzz, Buzz.....Woody, Woody, Buzz........ZURG.......Buzz, Buzz, Buzz.

a garsh darn cutie

Rowan's 2nd Birthday Extravaganza

Ro's Second Birthday was a big sucess. The backyard was transformed into a waterpark for the day with the watertable, little pool, big pool with slide, and a slip n' slide. All the essentials for a wild shin dig were present too. There were bubbles in the air, a big buzz Lightyear themed cake, bbq, beer (for over the required aged guests), tunes, presents and ofcourse just about every kid we know. All and All a great (and long) day.
