Rowan at Play

Through the bars of the baby gate, our little man managed to pull my wallet from my purse and daddys hat from the mitten/hat basket. Of course all in a matter of seconds! I guess he wanted to go shopping! He should have known that if mommies wallet squeezed through those bars....its unlikely that we're going shopping anytime soon! Rowan is now 16 months.....phew....where has the time gone? This age is so much fun, I'm sad that its flying by so quickly. Rowan's vocabulary has blossomed overnight it seems. He is not just repeating either. He uses the words at appropriate times to get what he wants/needs or just to express himself "yuck!" The latest few are cookie, cheese, thankyou, down, bum, night-night, all done, and ouch! He is very independent and strong willed......the terrible two's, I fear, are right around the corner! The last picture is of Rowan playing in his Kitchen. That toy (thanks to Mark and Jane) is getting a tremendous amount of play time.
